What time does the tour start?

What is the best route for one day?
It depends on your interests, but most guests choose a mix of nature + culture + viewpoint. A popular flexible combination is:
Trang An or Tam Coc (boat ride)
Mua Cave (viewpoint)
One temple or pagoda (Hoa Lu, Bai Dinh, or Bich Dong)
If you prefer something quieter, Van Long + Bich Dong + countryside drive works beautifully.
Can we start in Hanoi and finish in Ninh Binh (or vice versa)?
Yes, this is very common. Many guests use this as a transfer day. Just tell us your pickup and drop-off points when booking.
Is this suitable for families with children or elderly travelers?
Yes. This tour is ideal for families because you can move at your own pace. You can skip climbs like Mua Cave, take breaks anytime, and choose easier stops like Trang An or Bai Dinh (which has electric carts).
Do we need to book entrance tickets in advance?
No. All entrance tickets are easy to buy on the spot. Your driver will take you to the correct entrance and help with the process if needed.
How much are the entrance fees?
Prices vary by site, but here is a rough idea:
Trang An boat ride: ~300,000 VND/person
Tam Coc boat ride: ~250,000 VND/person
Mua Cave: ~150,000 VND/person

Yes. While this is not a guided tour, your driver knows the area very well and can suggest a logical route, best visiting times, and quieter alternatives if places are crowded.

The driver speaks basic, practical English for communication and logistics. For deeper explanations and storytelling, we recommend adding a professional English-speaking guide.
Can we stop for coffee, lunch, or photos along the way?
Of course. You can stop anytime. Whether it is a local coffee spot, a countryside photo stop, or a restaurant, just let your driver know.
Do you recommend any restaurants?
Yes. We can suggest good local restaurants depending on where you go during the day. From local goat dishes in Ninh Binh to vegetarian options near pagodas, your driver will know reliable places.
Do you recommend any Is tipping expected??
Tipping is not mandatory, but it is appreciated if you are happy with the service. A typical tip is around 100,000–200,000 VND per group for the driver.
What should we wear?
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended. If you visit temples or pagodas, please wear modest clothing (shoulders and knees covered).
What happens if it rains?
The tour runs in all weather. Rain can actually make Ninh Binh very सुंदर (beautiful), especially for boat rides. We can adjust the route to suit the conditions.
Can we extend the tour beyond 8 hours?
Yes. If you want more time, you can extend the tour for an additional hourly fee. Just let us know during the day or in advance.
Is this a private tour or will we share the car?
This is 100% private. The car and driver are only for you and your group.
